Year 4 ended their Anglo-Saxon unit by designing and sewing their own purses and then their own runes and using the pyrography pen to create them.

For the Science week theme of 'Growth', 4S made slime using different methods and experimented with how long they could stretch it before it broke

Year 4 had a fantastic visit from Steve Voakes yesterday and what a brilliant effort they made today, with their costumes. The children participated in lots of World Book day activities and particularly enjoyed reading with year 6 children this afternoon.

4S have had a very musical week so far, on Monday they played together in their guitar lesson and then Wednesday, they had the opportunity to take part in a Gamelan musical workshop. I think you'll agree that they played very well as a group.
